Day 4 - October 14, 2019
Day 4 started out at a much more relaxed pace since we were camped about 7 miles from the entrance to the Kolob Canyons unit of Zion National Park. Wilbur was fed his morning tank of diesel and we started the days adventures.
The road through this smaller section of the park climbs gently through a main canyon
and ends at the Kolob Canyon Viewpoint.
But wait, the actual viewpoint is at the end of a moderate 1 mile hike
and offers some pretty amazing views of the Hurricane Fault
and further East towards the main Zion Canyon.
After a late lunch we took the short (compared to the last 3 days!) drive around to the main Zion entrance at Springdale and were able to arrange RV park space for Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Tonight, however, Wilbur is going to sleep under the stars out in the middle of the Hurricane Cliffs Recreation Area. Not bad...

Wow, really beautiful.
