Day 11 - October 21, 2019

Another day of adventure!! Headed to the Grand Canyon - South Rim. Crossing more reservation land, crossed the Little Colorado River that is also in a very deep canyon, and more reservation land right up to the East entrance of the National Park.  We spent a large part of the day in the park stopping at several of the "not main" view points,

  and the Tusayan Ruins.

We were concerned about parking for Wilbur at the main visitor's center... not to worry, even had a choice of two spots. We rode our bikes to the geology museum and walked back to the RV along the Rim Trail (no bike riding on that trail).

Somewhere up at the end of the Bright Angel Creek Canyon is the North Rim portion of the park that we visited last Friday.

The Grand Canyon is so massive it’s hard to grasp. We watched a helicopter flying over the opposite rim and it was a speck.

The crows are very healthy, fun to watch and listen to as they fly over. I think if I were a crow I would live in the Grand Canyon or Smith Rock...lol

Ending the day with a new experience... we are spending tonight in a Love’s Truck Stop parking lot in Williams, AZ. It’s here and we are done for the day!

Update on Cindy...  her surgery went well and she was able to return home.  She still needs our prayers since she is dealing with alot of pain.
